- "2601 reversing drum switches are designed to start and reverse motors by connecting them directly across the line. The devices can be used with squirrel cage and single phase motors designed for reversing service. Can be used with AC or DC motors. Drum switches are field convertible from maintained to momentary operation. The maximum operational voltage is 600 VAC and 250 VDC. This 3 pole drum switch is rated for 1.5 HP at 115 VAC, 2 HP at 230 VAC, single phase, 2 HP at 230 VAC, 2 HP at 575 VAC, three phase, and 0.25 HP up to 600 VDC. The binder head screw terminals will accept 18 to 10 AWG copper wire. This switch has no pilot light indicator. A variety of enclosures are available. This device has a NEMA 13 oiltight flush mounting enclosure. This drum switch is 5.20 inches tall, 3.38 inches wide and 5.58 inches deep. Drum switches are UL listed and CSA certified for global applications."
